    A arquitectura rural galega desde os anos 60 sufriu grandestransformacións debido a implantación de novos modelos con influenciasexternas traídas polos emigrantes. Novos materias, técnicas construtivasindustriais e un acelerado proceso de industrialización do campo, afectaráa unha transcendental crise dos valores tradicionais o que se plasmaranunha deterioración do patrimonio vernáculo. Sendo a finalidadeestablecer as características da arquitectura doméstica actual e oselementos disonantes para dispoñer uns principios que contribúan para arehabilitación. Procúrase identificar os procesos de transformación queafectan a casa rural da aldea de Vilar de Donas dende os seus inicios ataa actualidade. Paralelamente, analizase a lóxica de formación, evoluciónhistórica e transformación da propia aldea. O tipo de investigación é uncaso de estudio que comprende o conxunto de casas da aldea. Ametodoloxía realizase en catro fases: a planificación, a recollida e análisede datos, o tratamento dos datos e sistematización. Este estudo pretendeconstituír unha aportación o coñecemento dos principais actorescausantes da problemática actual e identifica os elementos disonantes naarquitectura doméstica, imprescindibles para futuras intervencións quecombatan o desequilibrio existente na casa e no seu entorno.Especificamente, a principal contribución desta investigación sexa arealización duns principios que permitan inverter o proceso dedescaracterización da aldea.

    Since the 60s, the Galician rural architecture has suffered major transformations due to the introduction of new models with foreign influences brought by immigrants. New materials, industrial construction techniques and the accelerated process of industrialization of the countryside will later originated a transcendental crisis of traditional values that manifested itself in a deterioration of the vernacular heritage. These changes affected the domestic environment.The objective is to identify the characteristics of the current domestic architecture and the dissonant elements to establish principles that contribute to the village rehabilitation. Prosecutors identify the transformation processes that affect rural houses in Vilar de Donas from its beginnings to the nowadays. Meanwhile, the logic of origin, historical evolution and transformation of the village are analyzed.This research is a case study comprising the set of village houses. The methodology is performed in four phases: planning, data collection and analysis, data processing and systematization.This research intends to be a contribution to the knowledge of the key causes to the current difficulties and identifies the dissonant elements in domestic architecture, trying to tackle the imbalance in rural architecture and its surroundings in future interventions. Fundamental, the main contribution of research is to write in is the definition of some principles to reverse the process of mischaracterization village.
