The aim of this paper is to reflect on how audiovisual content producers on the Internet are recognized, named and represented by written press. With this in mind, we focus our analysis on the “Youtubers”, producers of the most visited media site worldwide. Studying the articles about “Youtubers” may help to understand the various representations that surrounds them. Due to the extension of this paper, we here analyze the newspaper La Nación, which has the second largest circulation in Argentina.
