Resumen de Docencia socioformativa y desempeño académico en la educación superior

  Problema: La socioformación cada vez se aplica más en la mejora de la docencia universitaria. Sin embargo, se tienen pocos estudios respecto a su impacto en el desempeño académico. Meta: determinar la relación entre la docencia socioformativa y el desempeño académico en estudiantes universitarios. Método: se realizó un estudio correlacional con una muestra de 570 docentes y 1299 estudiantes. Se utilizó un cuestionario con adecuados niveles de confiabilidad. Se evaluaron diversas variables relacionadas con la docencia desde la socioformación. Resultados: se mostró una correlación positiva y significativa entre diversas variables de la docencia socioformativa y el desempeño académico. Se encontró, que cuando los estudiantes muestran interés por aprender, ellos se interesan en la solución de problemas del contexto real y en la realización de proyectos de aplicación. Conclusión: la docencia socioformativa responde a las necesidades e intereses de los docentes y estudiantes. Además contribuye en la formación integral del estudiante

  Nowadays the socioformation is increasingly applied for improving the formation in the university. However, there are a few studies in regard to the impact on academic performance. Goal: To determine the relation between the socioformative teaching and the academic performance among the students. Method: A descriptive correlational study was made with one sample of 570 teachers and 1299 students. A questionnaire was used with adequate levels of reliability. Some different variables were evaluated related with the teaching of socioformation. Results: was shown a positive and significant correlation between some different variables in socioformation teaching and academic performance. It was found that when the students are interested in learning, also are interested in solving real context problems and in the application of projects. Conclusion: the socioformative teaching provides answers to the necessities and interests of teachers and students. It also contributes to the integral formation of the students
