    El trabajo se inició a partir de cómo mejorar la educación en valores de los estudiantes de carreras pedagógicas de 4to. y 5to.años pertenecientes a la universidad José Martí de Sancti Spíritus, que desarrollan la disciplina: Formación Laboral e Investigativa en el municipio de Fomento. Por medio de los métodos: análisis documental, entrevista, observación y además con el empleo de formas de organización de las clases como la consulta y la práctica laboral, se aborda la investigación titulada: “Relación universidad cubana y educación en valores: perspectiva de un modelo de hombre nuevo”. La investigación tuvo el propósito de contribuir a mejorar los modos de actuación de los estudiantes de carreras pedagógicas, que desarrollan la disciplina: Formación Laboral e Investigativa en el municipio de Fomento, ante el deber de estudiar, investigar, desarrollar la práctica laboral y participar de la extensión universitaria con protagonismo estudiantil. El profesor universitario tiene la tarea de instruir y a la vez educar, debe contribuir a formar profesionales capaces de marchar al ritmo de los nuevos tiempos, debe prestar especial atención al desarrollo de valores y actitudes. Es necesario un cambio en la mente del profesor porque él, también, debe marchar al ritmo de los nuevos tiempos, debe importarle no solo la adquisición del nuevo conocimiento, sino cómo se van formando esos jóvenes, sus alumnos desde el menos inteligente hasta el más inteligente, para que sean personas que se desenvuelvan correctamente en la sociedad en que viven, debe promover la independencia cognoscitiva, la responsabilidad, la disciplina, la flexibilidad, la autocrítica, la capacidad de decidir y el uso del método científico. Con el empeño de obtener buenos resultados en esta tarea, se elaboró y aplicó una propuesta de actividades extra docentes, basada en la obtención de conocimientos a través del ejemplo imperecedero del Che Guevara. Los investigadores analizaron: libros, discursos, artículos científicos, resoluciones ministeriales, se tomaron situaciones y disposiciones que merecieran ser tenidas en cuenta para lograr influir en la personalidad de los educandos hacia una actitud positiva ante la perspectiva de formarse como un buen profesional.

    El sitio de estudio fue el Centro Universitario Municipal de Fomento, ubicado en la calle Máximo Gómez # 103, provincia de Sancti Spíritus, Cuba. Este sitio es una filial de la Universidad de Sancti Spíritus José Martí, el cual atiende en la modalidad de curso por encuentros una matrícula de unos 150 estudiantes de 7 carreras. Desde este lugar, profesores universitarios controlan la calidad del proceso de formación que realizan los estudiantes de 4to y 5to años que desarrollan la práctica laboral, investigación y extensión universitaria en instituciones del municipio donde trabajan graduados universitarios de su especialidad, que se convierten en sus tutores.

    Se contribuyó a que los estudiantes de la muestra, se manifestaran con un mejor nivel de actuación en la sociedad cubana ante el deber de estudiar, investigar, desarrollar la práctica laboral y participar de la extensión universitaria con protagonismo estudiantil. Esta investigación comenzó en el curso 2015-2016 y el resultado de ella, se aplicó en los cursos 2016-2017 y 2017-2018.

    The work began starting from how to improve the education in values of the students of pedagogical careers of 4to and 5to. Years belonging to the university José Martí of Sancti Spíritus who learn the discipline: Labor and Investigative formation in the municipality of Fomemto. By means of the methods: documental analysis, interviews, observation and also with the use of ways of organization of the classes like the teaching consultation and the labor practice. The titled of investigation is approached: "Relationship between Cuban university and education in values: perspective of new man's model." The investigation had the purpose of contributing to improve the ways of the students' of pedagogic careers performance that develop the discipline: Labor and Investigative formation in the municipality of Fomento, first and foremost the duty of studying, to investigate, to carry out the labor practice and to participate of the university extension with student outstanding performance.

    The university professor has the task of instructing and at the same time to educate, he should contribute to form professionals able to go to the rhythm of the new times, he should pay special attention to the development of values and attitudes. It is necessary a change in the professor's mind because who also, should go to the rhythm of the new times, he should care him not only the acquisition of the new knowledge, but how those youth are being formed, from the less intelligent to the capable, so that they become people who behave correctly in the society in that where they live, they should promote the cognitive independence, the responsibility, the discipline, the flexibility, the self-criticism, the capacity to decide by themselves and the use of the scientific method. With the endeavor of obtaining good results in this task, it was elaborated and applied an educational extra proposal of activities, based on the obtaining of knowledge through the immortal example of Che Guevara. The investigators analyzed: books, speeches, scientific articles, ministerial resolutions, took situations and dispositions that deserved to be kept in mind to be able to influence in the personality of the learners toward a positive attitude before the perspective of being formed as good professionals.

    The study place was the Municipal University Center of Fomento, located in Maximum Gómez street #103, province of Sancti Spíritus, Cuba. This place is a subsidiary of the University of Sancti Spíritus José Martí, which participate in the course modality for classes once a week with a registration of about 150 students of 7 careers. The university professors control the quality of the formation process that they carry out with students of 4to and 5to years that do the labor practice, investigation and university extension in institutions of the municipality where university graduates work and they become their tutors.

    It was contributed to that the sample students, showed with a better performance level in the Cuban society before the duty of studying, to investigate, to develop the labor practice and to participate of the university extension with outstanding performance. This investigation began in the course 2015-2016 and the result was applied in the courses 2016-2017 and 2017-2018.
