    • This paper presents the work that is being carried out by a group of researchers at the UNED in order to design and develop a CALL system to teach business English. The ATLAS1 group (Read et al., 2002) is developing I-AGENT2 which combines collaborative and individual learning techniques and is based on the Systemic Functional Linguistics (Halliday, 1985) approach and also follows the guidelines of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment (CEFR, Council of Europe, 2001).
