    El objeto de la comunicación es explicar el abordaje del enfoque sintético para leer y escribir en inglés que se está desarrollando en el Colegio Internacional JH Newman. Para ello enraizamos el proceso en la unidad de un proyecto educativo de centro, que en sus prácticas docentes, se adecúa a la realidad educativa de los alumnos y al tiempo limitado de exposición y enseñanza del idioma en el centro. A lo largo del artículo se dan las líneas generales de los inicios en educación infantil y su transición a la educación primaria.

    The goal of this lecture is to explain how the synthetic phonics approach to read and write is being developed in the International School JH Newman. To start, we root the process in the unity of an educational school project, that adapts the teaching practices to the reality of its students and to the hours English is taught in our school. Through this article we point out the general aspects of the beginning in pre-primary school and how the project moves to primary education.
