    Después de permanecer más de 40 años cerrado, el Palau-Castell de Betxí requería de una actuación inmediata para su recuperación y puesta en valor que ha sido posible gracias a contar un Plan Director, una herramienta de gestión ágil del patrimonio que marca unos criterios generales de intervención y establece una serie de fases independientes y coordinadas para una rehabilitación paulatina y flexible. El artículo expone la evolución histórica del edificio para comprender el valor de todas sus diferentes etapas, los criterios utilizados, la definición de sus fases y las actuaciones llevadas a cabo hasta la fecha.

    After remaining more than 40 years closed, Betxí’s Palace-Castle needed an urgent restoration. This recovering has been possible thanks to the Master Plan, an agile management tool that lays down the intervention criteria and a series of independent and coordinated restoration stages for a flexible and gradual recovering process. This article shows the building’s historical evolution to understand the different values in each stage, the Master Plan intervention criteria, the definition of each intervention stage and the restorations carried out so far.
