El Maestro de Palanquinos es una personalidad artística definida por Gómez Moreno que marcó la pintura de finales del siglo XV de la antigua Diócesis de León otorgándole un lenguaje propio y característico. Su estilo es una interesante mezcla de lo hispano, mudéjar y flamenco, es decir, de la herencia del gótico castellano, la decoración de origen musulmán y el lenguaje venido del norte.

The Master of Palanquinos was defined by Gomez Moreno as an artistic figure. He shaped the painting from the end of the 15th century in the former Diocese of León, conferring a characteristic language to it. His style is an interesting mixture of Hispanic, Mudejar and Flemish, namely the heritage from the Castilian gothic, the decoration of Muslim origin and the language arising from the north.
