    La teoría de la arquitectura de B. Martorell no se basa en que los revestimientos den un aspecto bello al edificio, sino en que los materiales utilizados para que el edificio se sostenga hagan que resulte estético. Su obra es ejemplo de la relación entre estática y estética, la cerámica que los construye es la razón de su estabilidad y a la vez su acabado. Se analiza en tres de sus más emblemáticos edificios: el monasterio de Valldonzella, la iglesia de San Agustín y el colegio de las Teresianas.

    B. Martorell's theory of architecture is not based on that the coatings give a beautiful appearance to the bulding, but rather that the materials used to hold the building make it aesthetic. His work is an example of the connection between aesthetics and statics, the ceramic that builds them in the reason for their stability and at the same time their coating. It's studied in three of his most emblematic buildings: the Valldonzella monastery, the church of Saint Agustin and the Teresianas School.
