    En este trabajo se estudia la traducción al español de la Relation d’un voyage à Bruxelles et à Coblentz, un diario de viaje del futuro Luis XVIII de Francia en el que se detalla el itinerario de huida de éste a tierras germánicas en plena agitación posrevolucionaria. Tras la pertinente introducción del marco histórico, el trabajo se organiza en dos apartados claramente diferenciados: en primer lugar, el análisis del texto original, el contexto en el que se inscribe y la motivación por la que surge; y en segundo, el análisis de la traducción al español llevada a cabo por el barón de Ortaffá, su figura y contexto, así como características más notables. En este segundo apartado se comparan los extractos que presentan divergencias entre el TO y el TM y se organizan en tres categorías según el tipo de variación que se aprecie: de sentido, sintagmáticas o erratas.

    This paper aims to study the translation into Spanish of the Relation d’un voyage à Bruxelles et à Coblentz, a travel diary of the future Louis XVIII of France. In this text, the King details his escape itinerary to the Germanic territories during the post-revolution disturbances. After the introduction to the historical frame of this period, the work has been organised into two different parts: firstly, the analysis of the original text, its context and the reason of its publication; secondly, the analysis of the translation into Spanish by the baron of Ortaffa, his figure and context, as well as the main characteristics of the document. In this second part, the excerpts that present divergences between the ST and the TT are compared according to three categories of variation: meaning, syntagmatic and errata.
