Vulneración a la libertad de expresión: caso los jinetes del apocalipsis

    El presente es un estudio acerca del pronunciamiento emitido por la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos, frente a las expresiones vertidas por el expresidente de la República Bolivariana de Venezuela, Hugo Chávez, quién en uso de su cargo, calificó a los funcionarios del canal Radio Caracas Televisión, como “jinetes del apocalipsis”, descalificándolos como terroristas. La razón de estos epítetos fue que el mencionado canal, se resistió a presentar las noticias falsas de Venezuela, que el régimen buscaba imponer con el claro objeto de confundir a la población, en su lugar, presentó noticias reales, lo cual a criterio del exmandatario era nocivo. El objetivo del presente trabajo consiste en contrastar con doctrinas las opiniones del exmandatario, para evidenciar lo peligroso que resulta este linchamiento mediático a los medios de comunicación. La metodología utilizada en la investigación es deductiva, exploratoria y descriptiva, utilizando un enfoque cualitativo. Entre los resultados destaca que las expresiones del ex-presidente, transgreden la teoría que soporta la libertad de expresión, por cuanto se intenta acallar la opinión de las personas en el medio social, vulnerando asimismo la teoría del autogobierno de una sociedad democrática.

    Se concluye que las expresiones vertidas por el expresidente, no poseen fundamento alguno.

    The present is a study about the pronouncement issued by the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, in front of the expressions expressed by the former president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Hugo Chávez, who in use of his office, qualified the officials of the Radio Caracas channel Television, as “horsemen of the apocalypse”, disqualifying them as terrorists. The reason of these epithets was that the aforementioned channel, resisted to present the false news of Venezuela, that the regime sought to impose with the clear object of confusing the population, instead, presented real news, which at the request of the ex-leader It was harmful. The objective of this paper is to contrast with doctrines the opinions of the exleader, to show how dangerous this media lynching is to the media. The methodology used in the research is deductive, exploratory and descriptive, using a qualitative approach. Among the results highlights that the expressions of the ex-president, transgress the theory that supports the freedom of expression, as it tries to silence the opinion of people in the social environment, also violating the theory of self-government of a democratic society. It is concluded that the expressions expressed by the former president, have no foundation whatsoever.
