This suggests that the (re)production of this imaginary is seen as a reflection of the prevailing social discourses and the mechanisms of the media circle, not only of Spain but the global audience as well.

La proyección consistente de un imaginario aberrante y perverso del cuerpo femenino no es ajena al medio sociocultural del que surge y en el que se circula. Esto sugiere que la (re)producción de este imaginario se vea como un reflejo de los discursos sociales imperantes y los mecanismos del círculo mediático, no solamente de España sino del público global.
