El estudio de las creaciones inducidas deonomásticas es interesante desde el punto de vista lingüístico y cultural, estrechamente interrelacionados entre sí, puesto que la formación de una nueva palabra se debe a la influencia de otra, extranjera, y a las ideas que conlleva. Las creaciones inducidas estudiadas en este trabajo testimonian la efectiva llegada a España de las teorías filosóficas de Cartesio, Gasendo, Espinosa, Jansenio y Maignan, puesto que ha sido posible retrodatar la primera documentación de algunas de ellas en textos españoles, respecto a las conocidas hasta ahora.

The study of induced onomastic creations is interesting both from the linguistic and the cultural points of view. These are two closely interrelated fields, as the formation of a new word is the result of the influence of a foreign one and the ideas it is charged with. The induced creations discussed in this paper —the dating of some of which being earlier than previously thought— are evidence of the actual arrival into Spain of the philosophical theories of Descartes, Gassendi, Spinoza, Jansenius and Maignan.
