    La Bibliografía Temática de la Historiografía Lingüística Española. Fuentes secundarias (BiTe) [Esparza Torres, Miguel Ángel (dir.) & Elena Battaner Moro, Vicente Calvo Fernández, Adrián Álvarez Fernández, Susana Rodríguez Barcia. 2008. Bibliografía Temática de Historiografía Lingüística Española. Fuentes Secundarias. (=Romanistik in Geschichte und Gegenwart, Beiheft 17/1 y 17/2). Hamburg: Helmut Buske Verlag. 1-508 y 509-1069] es una base de datos que almacena y organiza fuentes secundarias relativas a la historiografía lingüística española publicadas entre los siglos XVI y XXI. Su objetivo es facilitar al investigador material bibliográfico controlado y organizado y permite, además, reconstruir la investigación rea­lizada desde el punto de vista historiográfico en una determinada disciplina o aspecto de la lingüística. La BiTe fue publicada en 2008, por lo que contiene las fuentes secundarias de historiografía lingüística española ―aquellas en las que el español es lengua objeto o metalengua― aparecidas hasta esa fecha. Contiene más de 4000 registros y alcanzó un registro de control de más del 80 %. Asimismo incluye diferentes índices de materias y disciplinas y un Índice de autores.

    Dada la importancia que ha tenido BiTe como obra de referencia en el área de la historiografía lingüística ―prueba de ello, su número de reseñas y citas―, parece pertinente ofrecer a los investigadores una actualización de las fuentes secundarias publicadas en la última década, dado que diferentes índices (número de publicaciones, congresos y revistas especializadas) muestran un importante aumento de la investigación y de las publicaciones en el área de la historiografía lingüística. El objetivo de este proyecto es, por tanto, completar la información que ofrece BiTe con las publicaciones de historiografía lingüística ―en las que el español es lengua objeto o metalengua― publicadas entre 2008, año de publicación de BiTe, y 2020, año de cierre del registro de este Apéndice. En este trabajo se explicarán las características y novedades de este Proyecto historiográfico.

    The Bibliografía Temática de la Historiografía Lingüística Española. Hamburg: Helmut Buske Verlag. 1-508 y 509-1069] is a database that stores and organizes secondary sources related to Spanish linguistic historiography published between the 16th and 21st centuries. Its objective is to provide controlled and organized bibliographic material and, in addition, to reconstruct the research carried out from the historiographical point of view in a certain discipline or aspect of Spanish linguistics. BiTe was published in 2008, so it contains the secondary sources of Spanish linguistic historiography ―those in which Spanish is the target language or metalanguage― published until that date. It contains more than 4000 records and it reached a control record of more than 80 %. It also includes different indexes of subjects and disciplines and an Index of authors.

    Given the importance that BiTe has had as a reference source in the area of linguistic historiography, it seems pertinent to offer an update of the secondary sources published in the last decade, given that different indexes (number of publications, congresses, and specialized magazines) show a significant increase in research and publications in the area of linguistic historiography. The objective of this project is, therefore, to complete the information that BiTe offers with the publications of linguistic historiography published between 2008 and 2020. In this work the characteristics and novelties of this historiographic Project will be explained.
