    La relación entre geometría y arquitectura es innegable. Esta relación se extiende desde la idea a la puesta en obra, y se encuentra en la descripción gráfica, pero también en la ideación, así como en la optimización estructural y ambiental. La geometría puede ser herramienta, pero también estrategia. Las formas expresivas resultan fascinantes, pero necesitan un proceso de parametrización para poder ser comunicadas, de modo que su materialización no resulte incierta. La arquitectura del siglo XX se caracterizó, en gran medida, por el empleo de sistemas ortogonales. Otras industrias y el diseño exploraron configuraciones más complejas; multitud de objetos y máquinas adoptaron formas más libres. Ciertamente, el diseño computacional llegó tarde a la arquitectura y a la construcción; del mismo modo los sistemas paramétricos están llegando con retraso. En cualquier caso, esto podría justificar la inhibición de algunas formas de riesgo extremo, pero no explica la indefinición formal de algunos proyectos del siglo XX.

    The relationship between geometry and architecture is undeniable. This relationship extends from the idea phase to the implementation. This relationship is found in the graphic description, but also in the ideation and structural and environmental optimization. Geometry can be a tool, but also a strategy. The expressive shapes are fascinating, but they need a process of parametrization to be communicated, so that their materialization is not uncertain. The architecture of the twentieth century was characterized by the use of orthogonal systems. Other industries and designs explored complex configurations; Many objects and machines have adopted free shapes. Computer Design came late to architecture and construction; In the same way, Parametric systems are arrived with delay. In any case, this could justify the inhibition of some forms of extreme risk, but it does not explain the formal lack of definition of some projects of the 20th century.
