  • Resumen
    • The authors argue that the Nurses' Health Study (NHS) helped Americans reduce their intake of trans fats (trans fatty acids) by providing information about the harm that is caused by ingesting foods containing trans fatty acids, and it mentions U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) food labeling regulations. It states that in 2007, New York, New York became the first U.S. municipality to restrict trans fatty acid use through foodservice-related government regulations.
