    O presente artigo tem por escopo analisar o aspecto jurídico sobre um tema totalmente novo para o Direito brasileiro, os veículos autônomos. O estudo busca refletir sobre aspectos considerados positivos e situações ainda consideradas emblemáticas para o Direito brasileiro que surgirá, caso seja autorizado o uso dos veículos autônomos. Nesse sentido, um dos objetivos deste trabalho consiste em analisar se haveria necessidade de uma nova adaptação na legislação de trânsito, sendo imprescindível também, o estudo sobre a responsabilidade civil pelos danos ocasionados pelo uso dos veículos autônomos. Ressalte-se, que diante da novidade do tema para a comunidade jurídica brasileira, e, distante da pretensão de esgotar minuciosamente o assunto aqui a ser enfrentado, o estudo que se desenvolverá a seguir pretende trazer valorosas contribuições, uma vez que sobre o referido assunto, este artigo parece estar desbravando o caminho para futuras produções jurídicas.

    The purpose of this article is to analyze the legal aspect on a totally new topic for Brazilian law, autonomous vehicles. The study seeks to reflect on aspects considered positive and situations still considered emblematic for the Brazilian Law that will arise, if the use of autonomous vehicles is authorized. In this sense, one of the objectives of this work is to analyze if there is a need for a new adaptation in the traffic legislation, being also essential, the study on civil liability for damages caused by the use of autonomous vehicles. It should be emphasized that, in view of the novelty of the theme for the Brazilian legal community, and, far from the pretension of exhaustively exhausting the subject here to be faced, the study that will be developed hereafter intends to bring valuable contributions, since on the said subject, this article seems to be paving the way for future legal productions.
