Resumen de Neurological disorders induced by liposomal amphotericin B in hematological patients

  • Liposomal amphotericin B (AmBL) has a toxicity profile with a low incidence of neurological disorders in relation to voriconazole. We present the case of a 71-yearold patient who presented an episode of visual hallucinations, disorientation, memory disorder and delirium after administration of AmBL. After carrying out a neurological study and a literature search of the possible triggering factors, the adverse reaction was attributed to AmBL, with a clear improvement in symptoms after the withdrawal of the antifungal
