    From an industrial heritage located in an important avenue of the city of Pelotas / RS, it was built a memory inventory. The heritage in question is LANEIRA BRASILEIRA S.A., a wool-processing factory that worked from 1949 to its bankruptcy decreed in 2003. Nowadays, this industrial remnant belongs to UFPel that purchased it in 2010, and since 2013, it has taken part in the inventories’ list of the city. Laneira is considered an exemplar industrial heritage, so the factory memories inventory was built based methodologically on the inventory proposed by IPHAN in the “Programa mais Educação”. This research has as objective contribute to a new perception about the factories’ spaces that take part in a responsible community for its social value, and consequently, its recognition and appreciation.

    A partir de um patrimônio industrial, situado em uma importante avenida da cidade de Pelotas / RS, foi construído um inventário de memórias. O Patrimônio em questão é a Laneira Brasileira S.A., uma fábrica de beneficiamento de lãs que funcionou de 1949 até o decreto de sua falência em 2003. Atualmente, esse remanescente industrial pertence a UFPel que o adquiriu em 2010 e, desde de 2013, faz parte da lista de imóveis inventariados do município. Por se considerar a Laneira um exemplar de patrimônio industrial, o inventário de memórias da fábrica foi confeccionado tendo como base metodológica o inventário proposto pelo IPHAN no Programa mais Educação. Essa pesquisa objetiva contribuir para uma nova percepção sobre os espaços fabris que fazem parte de uma comunidade responsável pelo seu valor social e, consequentemente, pelo seu reconhecimento e valorização.
