Estrelando o Theatro Nicodemus de Joinville: trajetórias iniciais de um patrimônio em meio a reverberações memoriais

    The aim of this study is to analyze how the German identity was different in The Nicodemus Theater’s history and also in the city of Joinville, especially analyzing the time of its inauguration, 1917. This study is a cut of the PhD Dissertation developed in the Interdisciplinary Program in Human Sciences, UFSC; Where I carried out researches at the Historical Archive of Joinville in local newspapers. I also analyzed for this study interviews conducted in 2001 by History's students of the University of the Region of Joinville (Univille), that are filed in the Laboratory of Oral History (LHO) of the institution, among other interviews stored there. These reports are also completely transcribed and filed with the 2003 Culture Heritage Declaration Process of the Nicodemus Theater, at the Secult - Culture and Tourism Secretary. For now, it is concluded that this analysis can help in understanding the trajectory of this building and other cinemas and their urban memories.

    O objetivo deste estudo é analisar como a identidade germânica perpassou por diferentes formas pela história do Theatro Nicodemus e também pela urbe joinvilense, especialmente analisando a época de sua inauguração,1917. Este estudo é um recorte da Tese de Doutoramento desenvolvido no Programa Interdisciplinar em Ciências Humanas, da UFSC; onde realizei pesquisas junto ao Arquivo Histórico de Joinville, em jornais locais. Também analisei para este estudo entrevistas realizadas em 2001 por estudantes de História da Universidade da Região de Joinville (Univille) que estão arquivadas junto ao Laboratório de História Oral (LHO) da instituição, dentre outras entrevistas ali guardadas. Esses relatos estão também completamente transcritos e arquivados junto ao Processo de Tombamento ocorrido em 2003 do edifício do Theatro Nicodemus, na Secult – Secretaria de Cultura e Turismo. Por ora, conclui-se que esta análise pode auxiliar no entendimento da trajetória deste edifício e de outros cinemas e suas memórias urbanas.
