    En el contexto histórico de la ideología ilustrada y liberal se analiza la incidencia que tuvo la política eclesiástica en el clero regular. En las últimas décadas del siglo XVIII y primeros años del XIX se ensaya la vía de la reforma, después se combina la reforma con la supresión y, al final, se opta por la supresión, de forma que en 1836 ya no hay regulares ni conventos. Los religiosos se convierten en enclaustrado s y sus conventos y rentas en bienes nacionales.

    In the historic context of the illustrated and the liberal ideology it is analysed the Ecclesiastical political incidence in the regular clergy. In the last decades of the XVIII century and first years of the XIX century it is practised the via of reform. After that it is combined reform and suppression, and finally it is chosen the suppression, thus in 1836 there are neither regulars nor convents. Religious people become Secularizet ones and their convents and incomes come to be National goods.
