Resumen de Innovación y tic en docentes de matemáticas de nivel medio superior

  Esta investigación buscó conocer las TIC que los docentes de matemáticas de nivel medio superior conocen y usan en clase. Los participantes son profesores de matemáticas de preparatoria de una institución privada de la Ciudad de México. Se empleó un análisis cuantitativo con dos instrumentos de evaluación cerrados. De los resultados obtenidos, se evidencia que a pesar de que el docente conozca las herramientas tecnológicas educativas las utiliza poco.

  Finalmente, es difícil que la innovación ocurra a través del uso de la tecnología si los docentes no adquieren nuevas destrezas, creencias, comportamientos y prácticas.

  This research aims to know the ICT that mathematic teachers of high school education know as well as how much they are being used in their classes. Participants were mathematics teachers from a private institution in Mexico City. The study used a quantitative analysis where two closed evaluation instruments were applied. From the results obtained, it is evident that even though the teachers know the educational technological tools, they use them little. Finally, it is difficult for innovation to occur through the use of technology if teachers do not acquire new skills, beliefs, behaviors and practices.
