    Este trabajo indaga en las mutaciones sociales acontecidas en la España de la Restauración, perceptibles a través del análisis de su perfil asociativo, sus cambios y permanencias. Sus primeras páginas desgranan con minuciosidad las fuentes informativas al alcance del investigador para el estudio de la sociabilidad formal, en un recorrido que va de los Anuarios Estadísticos decimonónicos a los Censos Corporativos Electorales de la Dictadura primorriverista, con especial hincapié en los problemas que dicha documentación plantea y su crítica específica. La segunda parte aborda la respuesta de la sociedad española a la libertad asociativa regulada en 1887, mediante el examen de su evolución cuantitativa y cualitativa hasta las vísperas republicanas.

    This paper investigates the social changes which happened in the Restoration Spain, which can be noticed through the analysis of its association history, their shifts and permanent features. The first pages examine in depth the sources of information which are available to the researcher for the study of the formal sociability, in a study which encompasses from nineteenth century Anuarios Estadísticos to the Censos Corporativos Electorales of the Primo de Rivera dictatorship, placing a special emphasis on the problems posed by that documentation and by its specific criticism. The second part deals with the response of the Spanish society to the freedom of association regulated in 1887, through the analysis of its quantitative and qualitative evolution until the eve of the Republic.
