    En los últimos años Cuba ha iniciado un proceso de actualización de su modelo económico, para lo cual es vital el desarrollo de una vocación hacia los oficios a nivel social que debe comenzar a formarse desde la más temprana edad, sin embargo, en la educación preescolar no existen los mecanismos necesarios para enrolar a las instituciones en esta tarea. El presente artículo reseña los presupuestos teóricos que deben ser tenidos en cuenta para formar vocaciones, haciendo énfasis en las características de este proceso desde la educación institucionalizada, específicamente en la edad preescolar.

    In the last few years Cuba has started a process of updating of its economic model, to that purpose it is vital the development of the right vocation toward crafts in the entire society, which has to be started in a young age, however in preschool education dont exist the nedeed mechanisms to enlist the institutions in this task. The present article summarizes the theoretical budget that has to be considered to develop the right vocation, highlighting the features from the institutionalized education, particularly in preschool education.
