    Tanto desde el punto de vista formal como en lo que atañe a su significado, existe una enorme variedad de expresiones en la subordinación temporal en la lengua española y en la sefardí. A pesar de que el tema, en lo que al español se refiere, cuenta ya en su dimensión diacrónica con importantes estudios, apenas se ha prestado atención en el ámbito de la subordinación temporal a la estructura introducida por el nexo en lo que, con diferentes significados temporales, especialmente el de la simultaneidad.

    Para la lengua judeoespañola, el tema tiene un especial interés porque no existen trabajos sobre el mismo y, por ello, este estudio tiene como objetivo trazar la historia y la evolución de la mencionada estructura, haciendo especial hincapié en las fuentes textuales del siglo XIX porque es en este momento cronológico en el que podemos documentar distintas variantes formales del tipo estructural citado, con distintos significados y diversas posibilidades combinatorias en los tiempos verbales de la oración principal y de la subordinada

    Both from the formal point of view and from what concerns its meaning, there are an immense variety of expressions used in temporal subordination structures in Spanish and in Sephardic languages. Although important research has been done on the subject with regard to its diachronic dimension, in terms of research for Spanish, the structure introduced by the link en lo que, which entails different temporal meanings, particularly the meaning of simultaneity, barely any attention in the field of temporal subordination has taken place.

    For the Judeo-Spanish language, the subject has special interest because there is no research done on this topic and, therefore, the present study aims to trace the history and evolution of the aforementioned structure, with special emphasis on the 19 th century textual sources. It is at this chronological time in which we can document different formal variants of the structural type, with peculiar meanings and diverse verbal tense possibilities of combination in main, and subordinate clauses.
