Comparación entre dos escalas de medida subjetiva: Thurstone y Anderson

    La autora comienza exponiendo una síntesis de los modelos de Thurstone y Anderson -Ley del Juicio Comparativo y Teoría de la Integración de la Información, respectivamente- los cuales, desde supuestos distintos, permiten establecer una escala de intervalos en la medición de estímulos subjetivos. En esta investigación el objetivo es descubrir la existencia de una transformación admisible para la escala de intervalos que permita pasar de la escala de medida proporcionada por un modelo a la proporcionada por el otro, utilizando los mismos estímulos y los mismos sujetos. El trabajo concluye considerando que los resultados son esperanzadores aunque se sugiere aceptarlos con cierta cautela ya que se utilizaron pocas categorías de estímulos.

    The author starts by offering a synthesis of Thurstone and Anderson�s models (Low of the Comparative Judgement and Theory of the Integration of Information, respectively), which from different perspectives, allow the establishment of a scale of intervals in the measurement of subjective stimulus. In this investigation the objective is to discover a plausible transformation of the scale of intervals that allows to go from the scale given by one of the models to the one given by the other, with the same stimulus and the same experimental subjects. The work finishes by considering that results are encouraging , although it is recomended to accept them cautiously given that just a few categories of stimulus were used.
