  Las nuevas tecnologías han supuesto un cambio importante en la docencia universitaria, especialmente desde la irrupción de dispositivos móviles con acceso inmediato a la información y la comunicación. El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar el impacto del uso docente de los smartphones en el rendimiento y en la satisfacción del alumnado, utilizando como base la Plataforma Virtual de la Universidad de Sevilla. Este uso se ha limitado a la realización de pruebas periódicas de control del aprendizaje, que se han realizado mediante este tipo de dispositivo o en formato papel. La metodología empleada se ha centrado en un análisis descriptivo y econométrico, en el que se ha observado la reducción progresiva de la participación del alumnado en este tipo de pruebas y el bajo resultado alcanzado en las mismas, tanto en el sistema de smartphone como de papel. Digna de mención es la valoración positiva del alumnado respecto a la introducción de test como herramienta de aprendizaje, unido a la satisfacción por el uso combinado de los smartphones y la plataforma, frente al formato

  The new technologies have meant an important change in university teaching, especially since the emergence of mobile devices with immediate access to information and communication. The objective of this paper is to analyze the impact of the teaching use of smartphones on performance and student satisfaction, using the Blackborad / Virtual Platform of the University of Seville. This use has been limited to periodic tests of learning control, which have been carried out using this type of device or in paper format. The methodology used has focused on a descriptive and econometric analysis that has given as results the fact of the progressive reduction of the participation of students in this type of tests and the low result achieved in them, both in the smartphone system and of paper. The positive evaluation of the students regarding the introduction of test as a learning tool, together with the satisfaction of the combined use of smartphones and the platform, compared to the traditional format on paper
