  • Wieman discusses the use of data by mathematics teachers when teaching. Educators are reportedly under increasing pressure to use data to drive instructional improvement and researchers have described different techniques to use data to improve instruction. These techniques are the diagnostic approach, the methods approach, and the teacher approach.
