    Una de las funciones del Estado es velar por el derecho del ciudadano a la educación de calidad, pero en el cumplimiento de esta función puede ejercerse un poder manipulador y controlador. Es por ello que el presente artículo tiene como propósito analizar la relación entre adoctrinamiento, ideologización y educación, para precisar la pertinencia de los términos doctrina e ideología en los asuntos que vinculan al Estado con el ámbito educativo y, a partir de esto, explicar los rasgos doctrinarios e ideológicos del sistema educativo venezolano.

    One of the main functions of the State is to provide quality education to all citizens; however, during the execution of this function, a manipulative and controlling power may be exercised. For this reason, this article aims to analyze the relationship between indoctrination, ideology and education in order to specify the relevance of these terms regarding the issues that link State and education system. Finally, based on this premise, doctrinal and ideological characteristics of the Venezuelan education system will be explained.
