  • Trade balance and current account balance are commonly used in order to obtain a view about the behavior of the economy. The article tries to give a view on how the weight of the industry is reflected.

    In the second part, the natural gas expectative is treated as well as the evolution of the LNG maritime transport and the offshore regasification and liquefaction terminals in the next future.

    Finally, some references to the advance in the technologies about the extraction of methane from the hydrates below the sea bed, carried out by China.
