  • The results of research carried out by Peter Robinson, Professor of Linguistics and SLA, were misinterpreted in 10.1093/applin/amx054 Task complexity, cognitive load, and L1 speech.

    The below sentences that appeared on page 4, lines 29-31 have now been removed from the manuscript:

    However, a lower type–token ratio indicates lower lexical diversity, which renders this finding a misinterpretation. Thus, supporting evidence for the CH was only found for fluency and confirmation checks.
