    Las nuevas migraciones favorecen que los centros educativos andaluces reciban alumnado de diferentes etnias y culturas. Esta nueva situación influye en la convivencia de los diferentes grupos culturales y en los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje que en los centros educativos se desarrollan.

    Esta circunstancia ha motivado que llevemos a cabo una investigación mediante encuesta con el profesorado andaluz. El Objetivo de la investigación es realizar un diagnóstico en los siguientes ámbitos: la formación del profesorado que atiende en su aula alumnado inmigrante, las ayudas que facilita la Administración educativa a los centros, cómo se desarrolla la vida en las aulas multiculturales, la participación de las familias en el centro, la labor del mediador intercultural y los sentimientos y percepciones del profesorado andaluz ante la diversidad étnica y cultural.

    The context in which the new migrations are produced makes it possible for Andalusian schools to receive students from different ethnic and cultural origins. This new situation influences the coexistence of the different cultural groups in the teaching and learning processes taking place in the aformentioned schools.

    This circumstance has motivated our research, for which we developed and worked on an extense survey to Andalusian teachers. The aim of this research is to diagnose in the following areas: teacher training of teachers working with immigrant students, the assistance received in schools from the educative authorities, the co-partnership and commitment of families, the role of the cultural mediator and the perceptions and feelings of Andalusian teachers as to the ethnic and cultural diversity phenomenon.
