Resumen de Identidad cultural y desempeño docente en instituciones educativas

  El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo identificar la relación entre la identidad cultural y desempeño docente en instituciones educativas de Andahuaylas, Perú. El enfoque fue cuantitativo con diseño descriptivo-correlacional. Se elaboraron dos cuestionarios dirigidos a una muestra de 138 docentes del nivel secundario. Los resultados de investigación han reportado la existencia de una relación positiva estadísticamente significativa (rho= 0,847) entre la variable identidad cultural y desempeño docente (p – valor = 0.000 < 0.05) al 5% de significancia bilateral, demostrando los resultados que pueden ser generalizados. Se Concluye que la identidad cultural del docentes es inadecuada y su desempeño es básico.

  The objective of this study was to identify the relationship between cultural identity and teaching performance in educational institutions of Andahuaylas, Peru. The focus was quantitative with a descriptive-correlational design. Two questionnaires were prepared for a sample of 138 teachers at the secondary level. The results of research have reported the existence of a statistically significant positive relationship (rho = 0,847) between the variable cultural identity and educational performance (p - value = 0.000 <0.05) at 5% of bilateral significance, demonstrating the results that can be generalized. It is conclude that the cultural identity of teachers is inadequate and their performance is basic.
