Turismo religioso: los católicos y la búsqueda de sentido

    Para el estudio del turismo este artículo se basa en textos referentes a la búsqueda del sentido de la vida y el inconsciente espiritual, considerando la perspectiva de la Tercera Escuela Vienesa de Psicoterapia. Se establece la importancia de la búsqueda de sentido por parte del peregrino para la planificación del turismo religioso, y la comprensión de la raíz humana del turista teniendo en cuenta la integralidad de la persona. Se rescata la comprensión del turismo religioso en los documentos oficiales de la Iglesia Católica al abordar el turismo, analizando la forma en que contribuyen al reconocimiento de la persona-peregrina en la búsqueda de sentido mediante sus desplazamientos. Se realizó una revisión teórica de naturaleza cualitativa contribuyendo a clarificar los objetivos de los primeros textos católicos sobre turismo y cuestionar la validez de la planificación del destino de turismo religioso cuando ese concepto está desasociado de la doctrina religiosa involucrada.

    Catholic Religious Tourism and the Search of Meaning. The paper brings to the study of tourism texts about the search for the meaning of life and spiritual unconsciousness, under the bias of the 3rd Viennese School of Psychotherapy; about the importance of this search of meaning by the peregrine for planning the religious tourism and understanding the human root of the tourist at the integrality of the human being. Understandings about religious tourism are recovered in order to have them close to the official documents of the Catholic Church regarding tourism, analyzing how they contribute for recognizing the person-peregrine looking for meaning, by means of its displacements. The research is a theoretical review of qualitative nature and its results contribute to explain the targets of the first catholic texts about tourism and to question the value of planning the destiny of the religious tourism when this concept is not associated with the religious doctrine involved.
