This article aims to analyse the Curricular Swimming Support Program as a mean to include 17 special educational needs (SEN) pupils in a regular teaching class, aged between 7 and 15 years old (8.82±1.91) and from both sexes. Results were obtained through the application of a questionnaire to teachers (n=17) and classmates (n=293), suggesting significant different answer due to gender as well as differences among the various types of problems that the sample of pupils presents (sensory, motor, cognitive, social and communication problems). The results also suggest a good impact on the SEN students who were included in the regular teaching class. Finally, some recommendations for future research and practice are presented.
O objetivo do presente artigo consiste em analisar o PANC enquanto promotor da inclusão de 17 alunos com NEE nas turmas de ensino regular, com idades compreendidas entre os 7 e os 15 anos de idade (8.82±1.91), de ambos os géneros. Os resultados obtidos através da aplicação de questionários aos professores (n=17) e colegas de turma (n=293), revelam diferenças significativas de respostas no género e no tipo de problemas dos alunos com NEE (sensoriais, motores, cognitivos, sociais e de comunicação), evidenciando-se um impacto positivo na inclusão. São ainda apresentadas algumas recomendações para a investigação e prática futuras.
