    La Sección Femenina de Falange fue el organismo del Estado franquista encargado de proporcionar una formación exclusiva a la mujer durante todo el período. La Educación Física y Deportiva se convirtió en un instrumento necesario en este proceso. Su profesorado, formado convenientemente según el modelo educativo adaptado a su género, se encargó de la tarea de transmitir los beneficios de la práctica física además de conseguir adecuarse al ideal de mujer impuesto. Las declaraciones de nueve profesoras e instructoras segovianas de Educación Física que desarrollaron su labor en diferentes etapas del franquismo nos transmiten sus intereses, expectativas, logros y dudas que les planteó su tarea como profesionales de la enseñanza en un mundo laboral que tuvieron casi vedado durante casi cuarenta años.

    The Feminine Section of the Falange was the Francoist state agency responsible for providing training exclusively to women throughout the Francoist period. Sport and Physical Education became a necessary tool in this process. Phisical Education women teachers, properly trained according to the educational model suited to its gender, were in charge of conveying the benefits of physical practice in addition to promote and impose the Francoist ideal of woman. The statements of nine teachers and PE instructors from Segovia, who were working at different stages of Francoist, convey to us their interests, expectations, achievements and concerns. All those raised by their daily task as teaching professionals in their working world, that they had almost forbidden for almost forty years.
