    En este artículo se aborda algunas reflexiones sobre el encargo social del maestro a partir de la interrogante que se hacen sus autoras. Se refleja que la sociedad contemporánea necesita pero también demanda imperativamente que la labor educativa del maestro rebase los muros de la escuela y llegue a la familia y a la comunidad, como la única vía de lograr la posibilidad de vivir en un mundo mejor.

    In this article there are some reflections on the teacher's social responsibility starting from the query that their authors made. It reflected that the contemporary society needs, and also imperatively demands that teacher's educational work surpasses the walls of the school and arrives to the family and the community, as the only way of achieving the possibility to live in a better world.
