Resumen de Contribuições da perspectiva histórico-cultural à compreensão do desenvolvimento da lingaugem escrita na infância

The historical/cultural perspective indicates the indirect character mediated by the human processes. Therefore, in a reflection on reading and writing in the childhood period, this study is guided towards the function of the Other (social mediation) and of the sign -mainly languange - (semiotic mediation) in the development and learning dynamics. Social interaction and language assume essential function in knowledge and capacities contitution, as well as in the subject´s constitution. Specially in spaces related to reading and writing, the gesture, the game and the drawing, gain a prominence function. The comprehension of how these processes happen contributes towards the orientation and reflection on written language teaching and learning practices.

O referencial teórico Histórico-Cultural aponta para o caráter indireto, mediado pelos processos humanos. Numa reflexão sobre a leitura e a escrita na infância, este estudo está orientado para o papel do outro (mediação social) e do signo - mais especificamente, a linguagem - (mediação semiótica) na dinâmica do desenvolvimento e da aprendizagem. A interação social e a linguagem assumem caráter fundamental na constituição de conhecimentos e capacidades, bem como do próprio sujeito. Especialmente nos espaços ligados à leitura e escrita, o gesto, o jogo e o desenho ganham um papel de destaque. O entendimento de como acontecem os processos constitutivos da criança contribui para orientação e reflexão sobre as práticas de ensino e aprendizagem da linguagem escrita.
