Concepciones sobre la estadística, su enseñanza y aprendizaje: un estudio exploratorio con estudiantes para profesor en matemática

    Este trabajo se ubica en la problemática de la formación de profesores en matemática en el área de estadística. Presentamos resultados de la implementación y análisis de un cuestionario diseñado para caracterizar las concepciones sobre estadística, su enseñanza y aprendizaje, de un grupo de estudiantes para profesor en matemática. El instrumento en escala tipo Likert fue implementado a n=47 estudiantes que se encontraban realizando el último año de la carrera para profesor en matemática pertenecientes a seis institutos de formación docente. Se realizaron los análisis de confiabilidad y validez del instrumento y la información relevada fue analizada mediante técnicas de estadística descriptiva, permitiendo distinguir concepciones predominantes de los participantes. Los principales resultados indican que la formación estadística es un requerimiento para el futuro ciudadano, pero que esta formación se encuentra, actualmente, asociada al fenómeno de monumentalización del saber.

    This work lies in the problems of teacher training, in the area of statistics. We present results of the implementation and analysis of a questionnaire designed to characterize the conceptions about statistics, their teaching and learning, of a group of students for Professor in mathematics. The instrument in Likert scale was implemented to n = 47 students who were making the last year of the course for Professor in mathematics belonging to six institutes of teacher training. The analysis of reliability and validity of the instrument has been conducted, and the information relieved was analyzed by technical of descriptive statistics, allowing to distinguish predominant conceptions of the participants. The main results indicate that the training in statistics is a requirement for the future citizen, but that this training is associated to the phenomenon of monuments of the knowledge.
