    Los nuevos modelos educativos del Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior (EEES) demandan nuevas acciones de apoyo y orientación a los estudiantes. Es por ello que en la Universidad de Zaragoza, en el presente curso 2015-2016, se ha comenzado a implementar el Plan de Orientación Universitaria de la Universidad de Zaragoza (POUZ) con una alta participación de los estudiantes en las diferentes actividades. El POUZ tiene como objetivo general favorecer la integración, educación y desarrollo de los estudiantes en la Universidad, así como, la inserción en el mundo laboral. Integra todos los servicios y actividades de apoyo y orientación que pone la Universidad a disposición de los estudiantes. Cada centro tiene su Plan de Orientación Universitaria (POU) personalizado, adaptado a sus necesidades y características particulares. El Plan Tutor y Mentor quedan integrados en uno solo, estableciéndose el binomio Tutor-Mentor como fundamento y pieza clave para la atención, guía, orientación y apoyo del estudiante, especialmente durante el primer año en el periodo de integración en la Universidad. El desarrollo e implementación del POUZ se realiza en tres fases. En la primera fase se establecen las líneas generales de actuación del POUZ, haciendo especial hincapié en la integración de los estudiantes en la Universidad. En la segunda fase se desarrollarán las acciones de apoyo y orientación para los estudiantes de los cursos 2º y 3º, y en los grados de más de cuatro cursos hasta el penúltimo curso del grado. Así mismo, se desarrollarán las acciones de apoyo en “orientación laboral y académica” para los estudiantes del último curso del grado. En la tercera fase se desarrollarán las acciones de apoyo y orientación a estudiantes egresados.

    New educational models of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) demand new actions in students’ support and guidance. That is the reason why in the current academic year 2015-2016 the University of Zaragoza begins to implement the “University of Zaragoza Orientation Plan” (POUZ) with high participation of students in the different activities. The POUZ general objective is to promote the integration, education and development of students in the University, as well as their later integration into the labour market. The plan includes all the services and activities of students’ support and guidance offered by the University of Zaragoza. Each Faculty develops its own Plan, adapted to their proper needs and characteristics. The Tutor Plan and the Mentor Plan are integrated into one single Plan, and, as a result, the Tutor-Mentor binomial becomes the base and key for the attention, counselling, guidance and support to students, especially during the University first-year integration period. The POUZ development and implementation is conducted in three phases. The general guidelines, with a particular emphasis on the students’ integration, are established in the first phase. In a second phase support and guidance actions will be developed for second- and third-year students and, in the case of degrees longer than four years, until the penultimate year. The second phase will also include support actions on academic and employment guidance for senior students. Finally, support and guidance actions for graduate students will be developed in the third phase.
