La educación y los educadores en tiempos postmodernos. Algunas reflexiones en torno a la educación musical

    La postmodernidad se ubica en uno de los momentos históricos importantes para la evolución de la investigación. En esta corriente del pensamiento ciertos filósofos confrontan sus ideas desde distintas perspectivas y posiciones epistemológicas para disertar acerca del conocimiento científico. De cualquier modo, este pensamiento ha sido protagonista de cambios sociales, históricos y culturales en los últimos dos siglos. Ello ha redundado en sus aportes al enriquecimiento del acervo científico y cultural de la humanidad. Por eso, el propósito de este trabajo investigativo fue develar las implicaciones que ha tenido la posmodernidad en la Educación y en los Educadores, para luego reflexionar acerca de la importancia del ejercicio de una praxis de la de Educación Musical planteada desde esta corriente del pensamiento. En ese sentido, se hizo un análisis de los principios filosóficos de la modernidad y la postmodernidad. Luego, se examinó la evolución de las posiciones filosóficas para precisar cómo se dio la transición entre la modernidad y la postmodernidad. Finalmente, se realizó la exhaustiva revisión documental de la postmodernidad enfocada en los trabajos de autores como Lyotard (2000), Giroux (1992,1997), Follari (2004), Lanz (2004, 2005), entre otros.

    Postmodernity is one of the important historical moments for the evolution of research. In this current of thought certain philosophers confront their ideas from different perspectives and epistemological positions to discuss about scientific knowledge. In any case, this thought has been the protagonist of social, historical and cultural changes in the last two centuries. This has contributed to the enrichment of the scientific and cultural heritage of mankind. Therefore, the purpose of this research was to unveil the implications of postmodernity in Education and Educators, and then reflect on the importance of the practice of a praxis of Music Education raised from this current of thought. In this sense, an analysis was made of the philosophical principles of modernity and postmodernity. We then examined the evolution of philosophical positions to determine how the transition took place between modernity and postmodernity. Finally, the exhaustive documentary review of postmodernity focused on the works of authors such as Lyotard (2000), Giroux (1992,1997), Follari (2004), Lanz (2004, 2005), among others.
