    El presente artículo es una reflexión teórica sobre el rol de la escuela en el marco de una sociedad digital. El texto está dividido en cuatro apartados, en el primero se sostiene que la escuela participa poco de la cultura digital y que recién comienza a acercarse a temáticas asociadas a la construcción de subjetividades, identidades y modos de socialización soportada con tecnología. En el segundo se trabaja alrededor del concepto de educación expandida para ilustrar el auge de prácticas comunales, horizontales y críticas frente la institucionalidad y la formalidad. En el tercero se presenta una tríada de ejemplos que se podrían catalogar como educación expandida según cinco características propuestas de antemano. Finalmente, en el cuarto se propone una ruta de acción, compuesta por cinco puntos, para implementar en la escuela.

    This article is a theoretical reflection regarding the role of school in the context of a digital society. The text is divided in four sections. The first section establishes that the school has very little participation on the digital culture and it just started to be related to subjects associated to the construction of subjective approaches, identities and socialization practices supported by technology. The second section deals with the concept of expanded education used to establish the increase of community-based, horizontal and critical practices, in relation with the institutionalism and the formality. The third section presents a triad of examples that may be classified as expanded education according to five characteristics previously proposed. Finally, the fourth section proposes an action plan, composed by five elements to be implemented at school.
