Resumen de Perfil matemático del alumnado de nuevo ingreso en la Facultad de Economía y Empresa de la UB

  Este documento analiza el nivel de conocimientos matemáticos de los alumnos de nuevo ingreso a los grados de ADE y de Economía de la Universidad de Barcelona durante dos cursos.

  En las matemáticas de primer curso de grado existe una divergencia entre el nivel real de conocimientos del alumno y el nivel de conocimientos que el profesor considera que tiene o que debería tener. Las consecuencias de esta situación se manifiestan en el rendimiento de los alumnos.

  Buscaremos una metodología que permita obtener datos objetivos sobre el nivel inicial del alumno y que ofrezca una ayuda para poder incidir positivamente en los aspectos de la formación con más deficiencias.

  El objetivo es analizar el nivel de conocimientos matemáticos de los alumnos que acceden a la Facultad, detectar lagunas y buscar soluciones o estrategias para intentar aumentar el rendimiento.

  This document analyzes the mathematical background of the new students in the Bachelor of Economics as well as in the one of Business and Administration Management.

  In the first course of Mathematics there is a divergence between the actual level of knowledge of the student and the one that the professor expected of him. This fact has implications on the performance of the student.

  We look for a methodology that allows us to obtain objective data with respect to the initial level of the student and that emphasizes in those mathematical concepts where the student has more deficiencies.

  The objective is to analyze the level of mathematical knowledge of the students entering to our Faculty, to identify gaps and to look for solutions and strategies that improve their performance.
