    Al llarg d'aquest estudi, l'autora analitza el concepte de vocació i la seva aplicabilitat en l'àmbit de l'educació. Igualment, investiga la praxi docent i es planteja si pot ser una praxi que pugui qualificar-se d'altruista, en el sentit més propi del terme. Proposa diferents idees d'altruisme i es refereix exhaustivament a l'altruisme ambigu. Amb un gran realisme, fruit de la seva pràctica educativa, afronta la pregunta de l'altruisme, sense oblidar, però, el nervi esperançat a tota pràctica educativa.

    Throughout this article, the author analyses the concept of vocation and its applicability in the field of education. She also looks into the teaching praxis, wondering whether it could be classed as altruistic in the most proper sense of the term. She proposes differentideas of altxuism and exhaustively refers to the ambiguous altruism. With great realism, a result of her educational practice, she faces the issue of altruism, without disregarding the hopeful nave ts every educational practice.
