    Al llarg d'aquest estudi, la professora Pagès analitza la relació entre l'educació i la societat del coneixement a partir de l'obra d'alguns sociòlegs i filòsofs contemporanis, especialment seguint l'obra d'A. Touraine. Investiga la noció de subjecte i les seves implicacions en el món educatiu i fa una anàlisi crítica dels processos d'estandarització en les societats modernes.

    Throughout this study, professor Pages analyses the relationship between education and the society of knowledge starting from the works sf ssme eontemporary sociologists and philosophers, especially focusing on A. Touraine. She looks into the notion of subject and its implications in the educational world, and develops a critica1 analysis of the standardisation processes in modern societies.
