    El tema medieval, el del trovador enamorado, pasó a ser argumento en dos piezas: una teatral, El Trovador, de Antonio García Gutiérrez, y otra operística, Il Trovatore, de Giuseppe Verdi, inspirada en la anterior. El objetivo de este trabajo es constatar la presencia que ambos espectáculos tuvieron en doce ciudades españolas en la segunda mitad del siglo XIX, cuyas carteleras han sido estudiadas en el Centro de Investigación de Semiótica Literaria, Teatral y Nuevas Tecnologías (SELITEN@T) –cuyas actividades pueden verse en http://www.uned.es/centroinvestigacion-SELITEN@T– y se encuentran colgadas en su página web, con el fin de poner de manifiesto la huella que estas dos obras han tenido en la tradición teatral española

    The medieval theme of the troubadour in love became the plot of two different stage pieces: a dramatic one (El Trovador, by Antonio García Gutiérrez) and an operatic one (Il Trovatore, by Giuseppe Verdi, inspired by the former). The purpose of this work is to attest the presence of both shows in twelve Spanish cities in the second half of the 19th century. The bills of the shows have been analysed at the Centro de Investigación de Semiótica Literaria, Teatral y Nuevas Tecnologías (SELITEN@T) –whose activities can be seen at http://www.uned.es/ centro-investigacion-SELITEN@T– and uploaded to the Centre’s website so as to evidence the trace of both works in the Spanish dramatic tradition
