    Durante la Dictadura de Primo de Rivera se aprueba una reforma educativa denominada el Plan Callejo. Ésta supuso la aparición de la asignatura de Historia de América de manera independiente a la Historia General de España, como había sucedido hasta entonces. Tras esta decisión meramente educativa, subyace el espíritu de regeneración política que está presente durante esta etapa histórica.

    During the Dictatorship´s Primo de Rivera there is approved an educational reform named the Plan Callejo. This one supposed the appearance of the subject of History of America of an independent way to the General History of Spain, since it had happened till then. After this merely educational decision, there sublies the spirit of political regeneration that is present during this historical stage.
