  • Resumen
    • Videogames are the result of a long evolution in the gaming world, one which has a direct relationship with the development of computers, which support the majority of our communication systems. Through videogames, we create systems with mathematical backgrounds that define all kinds of virtual worlds, thus reflecting our conception of the world. As the videogames are developed, we develop as well, learning and evolving along with them. One might think that if we had the chance to create a world, we would try to create a utopia, somewhere where we could achieve the harmony that has never been possible in reality.

However, the reality of videogames is quite the contrary, full of competitive scenarios in which we can fight, risk our lives and reach our symbolic death at the end of the game when the screen reads Game Over.
