    La naturaleza y el paisaje entran a formar parte del mundo literario de los escritores españoles desde el inicio del siglo XX como reflejo de su propio yo literario. Paisaje y escritor consolidan una relación tan intensa que toda la literatura de las primeras décadas del siglo se verá afectada por numerosas y muy novedosas representaciones entre las que destacan las de Azorín y Gabriel Miró en relación con el territorio y el paisaje de Levante. Ambos evocaron su tierra levantina y la describieron con delectación y en sus descripciones de tierras, paisajes, lugares y entornos, siempre dejaron algo de sí mismos, sentimientos de aprecio hacia una tierra que despierta recuerdos y vida transcurrida y que evoca humanidad y existencia, realidad y vida.

    Nature and landscape become part of the literary world of Spanish writers from the early twentieth century as a reflection of their literary self. Landscape and writer consolidate such an intense relationship that all the literature of the first decades of the century will be affected by numerous and very innovative representations among which are those of Azorín and Gabriel Miró in relation to the territory and landscape of eastern Spain, Levante. Both evoked their Mediterranean land and described it with relish and in their descriptions of lands, landscapes, places and surroundings, they always left something of themselves, feelings of appreciation to a land that awakens memories and past life and evokes humanity and existence, reality and life.
