Actualmente estamos instalados en la Posmodernidad. Este periodo se caracteriza por la complejidad, el individualismo, la fragmentación, el relativismo y una pérdida de referentes. La situación es difícil para todos los colectivos, pero si uno tiene especial dificultad son los adolescentes. El artículo analiza precisamente este colectivo, a partir de las aportaciones los mismos adolescentes, profesores y madres. Se quieren mostrar sus dificultades, preocupaciones, inquietudes y conflictos para adaptarse en un entorno, en muchas ocasiones, hostil. Ellos no son los responsables de las contradicciones y problemáticas sociales, al contrario, son las víctimas. Ellos no han construido la sociedad actual, se la han encontrado y deben adaptarse. No tiene sentido culpabilizarlos de los males de la sociedad, sino que son perjudicados y sufren las consecuencias. Consideramos que los adultos deberían tener más sensibilidad hacia ellos.
